Problem:

Spaces and opportunities for deep healing often seem out of reach, too scary, or inaccessible. Deep healing is where we meet God, at the core of our stories and insecurities. Many of us are unknowingly wounded and remain unhealed.

For freedom did Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and be not entangled again in a yoke of bondage - Galatians 5:1

Solution:

Jesus designed the Church to be a mobile hospital, not a stationary hotel. . The Body of Christ is equipped and experienced at the healing arts of body, mind, and soul - growing in Freedom individually and collectively.

Don't be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you can figure out what God's will is—what is good and pleasing and mature. - Romans 2:2

Strategy: Create a network of mental health, soul care, and recovery providers:

  • Asset-Map (regionally):

  • Host annual "Breakthrough" conference to draw the city together, cast-vision, and asset-map more connections.

  • Equip network leaders to rhythmically gather providers based on focus, need and discipline. Make aware opportunities of gathering and connection to all.

  • Continue compiling resources and local initiatives into a toolbox that could be implemented collectively (see below list)

  • Create a gap-analysis of who needs equipping

    • Consider the needs of Leaders

    • Congregations: create goals and a plan to equip leaders, congregants, and community

  • Create master-regional calendar of trainings, events, and gatherings to increase attendance and connectivity and decrease duplication of services

Equipping Resources Filtered by Focus Area:

Starting in utero, we were designed to be safe, seen, soothed, and secure.

Wounds from the past subconsciously dictate current maladaptive thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We are bound to these lies until we look them in the eye with God and others, allowing the truth to set us free.

With God and in trustable community, we navigate deep inner healing. We heal so to live grounded in a deep and settled peace, with little to hide, prove, or fear.

We can not give what we do not have. We don't wake up one day being someone we have not been becoming. We are invited into this liberating work. As we are gradually liberated, our presence liberates others, from glory to glory.
